The Monday Night Social League is in full swing again for the winter with the 3rd round of fixture to be played tonight.
Round 3 Fixtures:
John Shipley & Ken McCurdie vs Neil & David Carsey
Ron Meldrum & Lee Garden vs Mark & Barry Tait
Alan Humphries & Mike Legge vs Colin Allan & Ivor Smith
Alfie Rae & Doug Forbes vs Doug Gordon & Derek Young
Ally Rose & Iain Cameron vs Simon Gray & Alan Neilson
Round 1 Round-up:
In round 1 there was a heavy 8-2 overall defeat for the defending champions Lee Garden and Ron Meldrum due to losing both the Darts and the Dominoes whilst drawing the Snooker and Pool against Simon Gray and Alan Neilson. There was also a big 8-2 win for Doug Gordon and Derek Young over Mark Tait and Barry Tait, following victories in the Pool and Darts. Alfie Rae and Doug Forbes came out 6-3 winners over John Shipley and Ken McCurdie due to a win in the Dominoes. Ally Rose and Iain Cameron won 7-4 over Alan Humphries and Mike Legge, following wins in the Pool and Darts but losing the Dominoes. There was also a 5-5 draw between Neil Carsey & David Carsey and Colin Allan & Ivor Smith with the Carsey's winning the Snooker and Colin and Ivor winning the Pool

Round 2 Round-up:
In round 2 defending champions got back to winning ways with an 8-2 victory over Doug Gordon and Derek Young with wins in the Snooker and Dominoes seeing them home. There was also another convincing 8-2 win for Simon Gray and Alan Neilson, who followed up there win over the defending champions in Round 1 by beating Alfie Rae and Doug Forbes, with wins in the Pool and Dominoes seeing them home. Colin Allan and Ivor Smith won the same two disciplines but lost the Darts on their way to a 7-4 win over Mark Tait and Barry Tait. John Shipley and Ken McCurdie came out on top in the Dominoes in there clash with Ally Rose and Iain Cameron, which proved pivotal in their 6-3 win. Neil and David Carsey came out on top in the Snooker and Pool, whilst Alan Humphries and Mike Legge won the Darts and Dominoes in their 6-6 draw.
