Welcome to the Aberdeenshire Cricket Club website. Based in the heart of Aberdeen we are a friendly and diverse cricket club that caters for all ages and abilities.
Aberdeenshire CC is a well established club and forms a significant part of the long and illustrious history of cricket within the Aberdeen area. Regarded as one of the focal points for cricket in the northeast of Scotland, our Mannofield-based club contains international-standard cricketing facilities, with one-day international status granted to the club in 2008, as well as a full time members bar, that also serves high quality food at the weekend. For the larger functions / parties / meetings the club also houses the famous ‘Bradman Suite’, which is ideal for larger group gatherings.
The club consists of four senior teams and also fields numerous junior sides (kwik cricket, U11, U13, U15 and U17) all of which benefit from training supervised by a dedicated group of highly qualified cricket coaches. The first team competes in the Scottish Premier League, which it won- along with the Scottish Cup-in 2009. The second team competes in, and is also defending champions of, the Strathmore and Perthshire Union Premier League. The third team play in grade 1 of the local Aberdeenshire cricket leagues and the fourth team participate in grade 4 in the same set of leagues.
Our club is open to anyone and we are always keen to welcome new cricketers. Training takes place from March until September and is on the following days:
Senior:
Tuesday: 6pm - 8pm
Thursday: 6pm - 8pm
Juniors:
Kwik cricket - each Monday and Wednesday 5pm - 6pm
Under 11, 13, 15 and 17 -each Monday and Wednesday 6pm - 8pm
