1. You came right through our junior ranks and helped the youth section win three Scottish Cups in the past three years — what's been the biggest reason for that success?
"Our success comes down to a mixture of a very talented, hardworking squad, as well as the never-ending passion of our mentor, Mr Phil."
2. You broke into the first team at just 13 and already have three senior centuries under your belt. Which of the three is your favourite, and why?
"My favourite would have to be my hundred at home against Freuchie — finding a way to get myself out of poor form against a good attack."
3. Representing Scotland across every age group from the Under-15s up to the Under-18s is massive — who have been the toughest opponents along the way?
"The toughest have been Ireland Under-17s and Middlesex Schools — both full of top players on tricky wickets."
4. With the First XI back in the Eastern Premier League and your recent call-up to the U19 winter squad ahead of next year's World Cup — what's your main focus this winter?
"My main focus will probably be acclimatising to quicker bowling in preparation for next year, and practising my sweep a lot more."
5. Outside of matches, you're pretty much a permanent fixture at Mannofield — who's your toughest opponent on the pool table?
"My bunny, Leo Wood."
6. Coach Phil has seen your progression from youth to senior cricket firsthand — how much influence has he had on your game so far?
"It's hard to put into words just how much of an impact Mr Phil's watchful eye and kind words have had — not only on my cricket, but on my outlook on life. He's always gone above and beyond trying to get me playing with the top hand, although he's not always successful! I feel very lucky to have someone as experienced and accomplished as Mr Phil guiding me through my journey."
7. What's your ultimate pre-match routine, or go-to song when you're getting focused to bat for the first team?
"Despacito by Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee, or Killeagh by Kingfishr. I'm part Spanish and part Irish, so I like leaning into the cultures that have made me who I am — it hypes me up and reminds me what I represent out there on the field."
8. Playing senior cricket alongside experienced heads must be a great learning curve — who in the first-team dressing room would you say is the biggest character?
"I've played with a lot of great characters since starting in the 4th team as a 10-year-old, right up to playing with the first team now. If I had to pick one, it'd be my captain, Lewis Munro — like the great leaders of the past, he knows how to empower the whole team before battle."
9. Between the First XI back in the EPL and the atmosphere on the pool table, darts, and nachos off the pitch — what would you say to someone thinking about joining 'Shire?
"It's the best venue I've played at — it has the perfect blend of high-quality cricket with a great social side, and some great people around it too."
10. Where do you want your cricket career to be in five years?
"My goal by the time I'm 20 is to hopefully be playing county cricket and be part of the Scotland international team."
