The Redball primary schools coaching programme for 2018 culminated in the first festival day at Mannofield where 210 children from Airyhall, Ashley Road, Broomhill, Hazelhead, Kaimhill, Mile End and St Josephs came together for a day of participation and fun.

A total of 26 games of 10 a side pairs cricket were played with 3498 runs scored and 285 wickets taken, highest team score of the day was 121 with the top pair scoring 54 from their two overs, six children took 3 wickets in their over.

A wonderful day where it was great to see the children put all of the skills they have learned during the 6 week block of coaching into practice big hitting, great catching, acurate bowling and enthusiastic fielding.
